Sensei Liam

Senior Instructor

Sensei Liam has been learning Ju Jitsu for almost 20 years, he is a 3rd Degree Black Belt. Liam started his training at Nippon UK where he was taught by Sensei Lee and quickly grew to enjoy Japanese Ju Jitsu over the other martial arts he has tried.

Sensei Liam achieved his 1st Dan Black Belt in 2014 and has been teaching and assisting as much as he can ever since.

“I’ve found that the many different moves and techniques mean that you are always learning something new and never become bored, even after all this time. Ju Jitsu being as old as it is, means there is always something that ends up coming back, almost forgotten that you can practice again and the large syllabus means there is always something to perfect.”

Liam is currently working full time at Hallis Hudson in Preston as their Data Product Manager, and has a degree in Computing.
