Sensei Kirsty

Ju Jitsu 2nd Dan // Senior Instructor // First Aid Liaison

Sensei Kirsty has studied martial arts since an early age with Nippon UK at its Southport and Preston dojo’s. She was awarded her black belt in 2010 at the age of 16. She was an integral member of the team in delivering after school Ju Jitsu classes across the Northwest. She was also responsible for developing and teaching the traditional Bushido weapons class at the main headquarters for Nippon UK. She also has a passion for delivering first aid training to children and is currently developing a scheme to deliver classes across the UK.

Here’s why Sensei Kirsty is passionate about martial arts.

“I have always loved martial arts and when I realised I could make it a career I was so excited. I have made some great friendships over the years and really love the community spirit that it brings. I’m really excited to be an integral part of the Enso Martial Arts® team moving forwards and developing our classes across the UK. I really love my job and can’t wait to see what the future holds and where it will take me”.
